Volunteer

The club’s published volunteer opportunities include team support, equipment, fields and events. Ask which needs are current and what each role involves before committing.

Team support

Help families stay connected through team communications, schedule updates and coordination of home-game volunteers.

Equipment & uniforms

Help organize club equipment and uniforms, keep track of inventory and coordinate equipment needs with the program directors.

Fields & scheduling

Work with program directors on practice and game field needs, and help communicate field changes to team managers.

Events & fundraising

Help bring players and families together through club social activities or support the planning of fundraising events.

Match a donation

  1. Check the rules. Confirm that the club, your gift and its payment method qualify. Check the request deadline and any limits or affiliation restrictions.
  2. Get your receipt. Keep the gift date and amount. Ask the treasurer for a club receipt if your employer requires one.
  3. Submit and follow up. Request the match in your employer’s portal. Save the confirmation and check its status; a submitted request is not yet a payment to the club.

Report volunteer time

  1. Check the program. Ask whether your employer offers volunteer grants and whether your club activity qualifies. Check hour thresholds, limits and deadlines.
  2. Keep a simple record. Note the activity, dates and volunteer hours. Ask the club contact for your activity about any verification the employer needs.
  3. Request the grant. Follow your employer’s process to report hours and request a grant. Save the confirmation and watch for any follow-up steps.
